Verified before listing
No tutor appears in the directory until they pass our verification review. The directory is the filter.
Safe first contact
In-app messaging is the default. You can report a conversation or block a user, and our team reviews reports.
Minimal data, kept briefly
We store proof a check happened, not raw evidence forever. Sensitive documents are deleted after the decision window.
Contact stays private
Email and WhatsApp are revealed only if a tutor opts in, and only after a click — never scraped from the page.
A note on child safety. Child-safety laws differ across countries, and some checks are only available to employers or registered organisations. We do not claim a universal “criminal background checked” badge. Where a lawful, current check is available and relevant, we review it; otherwise we are transparent that we did not.
